A&E is moving forward with that Psycho prequel, Bates Motel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, just days after casting Freddie Highmore in the starring role as burgeoning psychopath Norman Bates, producers are nearing a deal to cast The Last Airbender actress Nicola Peltz for a major supporting role.
If all goes through, Peltz wil portray Bradley Kenner, a classmate of Bates' who is described as smart, and "effortlessly sexy with a depth that makes her seem older than she really is." She is likely going to be a love interest for Bates, which probably won't work out well, we're guessing.
Bates Motel is set to premiere on A&E next year.
