It's not a surprising move considering its ratings have been besting even singing competition king Simon Cowell's X Factor, but it's nice to have confirmation. According to Deadline, NBC has opted to renew The Voice for a fourth and fifth season, officially ensuring the series will remain on our televisions through at least the end of 2013. Rejoice!

The Voice is currently airing its third season on NBC, and will return for a fourth season in January 2013 with Shakira and Usher replacing judges Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine.
