Marvel Is Ending "The Amazing Spider-Man" And "Wolverine" This December

Just wait around for the inevitable reboot.

None

In yet another publicity stunt from the company, Marvel has revealed today that The Amazing Spider-Man and Wolverine comic book series will both come to an end this December, according to Comic Book Resources. Wolverine will be ending with issue #317, while Spider-Man will go out on its 700th anniversary issue.

Fans of the characters shouldn’t worry, though, because both are likely to get rebooted solo books by January, which is something Marvel has done a whole lot of in recent months. If each book sticks with its original name, it will be the fifth relaunch for Wolverine and the third for Amazing Spider-Man. That is unless the company does something crazy and kills off Spider-Man. That can't happen, right? Check out the covers to both issues below.
