Lady Gaga, who recently buzzed off a part of her brunette locks to honor Terry Richardson's mother, shocked fans by getting her newly-shaved head tattooed on stage at the launch event for her fragrance, FAME, at New York's Guggenheim Museum last night (Sept. 13).
Her tattoo of choice? An angel, etched on by artist Mark Mahoney.
"It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage," Mahoney said of the design.
Of course, that was only one part of the live art installation she turned her launch into. Gaga arrived lying on a day bed in a large replica of her perfume bottle, in which she also got tatted.
We'd expect nothing less from the girl who once showed up to an award show covered in meat.
