Donald Glover: Actor, writer, comedian, musician, and now, show creator. TV Guide is reporting that the Community star and hip-hop artist is working on developing a new show for NBC with 30 Rock co-executive producer Matt Hubbard. It's being described as a sitcom that's expected to star Glover himself and be loosely based on his life. NBC has committed to the project, and is, reportedly, "close to sealing a deal for a put pilot," which basically means there'll be a huge penalty if the show doesn't move forward.
But rest east, Community fans - reportedly, Glover's role as Troy Barnes on the show is still his first priority, and any other projects are "in second position" to that.
