D.C. restaurant Toki Underground (1234 H St. NE) will be hosting a pop-up library during tomorrow's H Street Festival. The restaurant joined forces with the Capitol Hill Public Schools Parent Organization to reinforce the importance of librarians in D.C. schools following a cut in funding that's left 57 schools without for the fall semester.

The library will operate from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but food will not be available during those times. Toki Underground will resume service as a restaurant beginning at 5 p.m.

You can still make book donations until 9 p.m. this evening to receive a $1 coupon for ever two books that are in good condition.

Donations can be made at 1244 Wylie Street NE.
