According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carla Gugino is set to guest star in a three-episode arc next season, playing Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) new seemingly sweet colleague who enters into a "kinky relationship that seems to reference Fifty Shades of Grey" with him.
New Girl returns to Fox on September 25th, and don't forget to set your DVRs - Gugino's appearance will kick off in the seventh episode.
