Want to hate on the MTA in an informed way? Connect with the Straphangers Campaign, an advocacy group that grades the New York City subway lines. The group's latest report card, its 15th in as many years, ranks the lines from best to worst on the basis of different criteria, including amount of scheduled service, delays caused by mechanical breakdowns, subway car cleanliness, and announcements.
The Q took top-ranking for the first time since 2001. The C, because it sucks, came in last. It's come in last six of the 15 years that Straphangers has been releasing its report.
