Sony has revealed the next character in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, the PS3 and PS Vita "homage" to Nintendo's beloved Super Smash Bros. franchise.

Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance star Raiden will bring his cyborg ninja swordplay skills to the new game, which, by the way, will only need to be purchased once for you to download both the PS3 and Vita versions.

Raiden's moves focus on combos and juggling other characters in the air so they can't get an attack in. His super-duper move involves trapping other players under boxes. He may be a cyborg ninja, but no one said he had to be a good sport.

Check out a video of Raiden in action over at Gamespot. What other characters are you still hoping will be included in Battle Royale? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
