Polish Retailer Starts Selling "Resident Evil 6" Literally a Month Early

Someone's in trouble.

None

A Polish retailer has reportedly broken the street date of Resident Evil 6 by over a month. That's got to be some kind of a record.

RE 6 is scheduled for an Oct. release, as far as we know, but that didn't stop a retailer in Poznan, Poland from selling it to anyone who came into the store, including gaming site NeoGo's Rafał Baranowski, who wrote about it and posted pictures online.

"I was shocked when I heard the store offers it and rushed to check it out," Baranowski told Joystiq. "I have no knowledge of manufacturing plant near Poznan. It looks like it has been pulled from Germany, really."

"I will play deeper into the game over the weekend, but please note that we do not plan to make tons of videos," Baranowski reportedly added. "... Capcom would kill us."

No shit, Sherlock. Something tell us there's about to be a shitstorm at whatever Polish retailer had the audacity (or stupidity) to start selling one of the most anticipating releases of the fall in August. Go easy on 'em, Capcom—they didn't know any better!
