So, yeah, they're training cops to use the Find My iPhone app, and it's working out pretty well. A woman in Williamsburg reported a break-in at her apartment, saying her iPhone and laptop had been stolen. Using his own iPhone, Officer Steven Pedullo brought up the useful app, tracing the stolen goods to a Crown Heights apartment.

Police found the woman's credit card and ID in the pocket of Ralph Campbell, 49. They arrested Campbell's girlfriend's grandson, Malik Saeed, soon after. Both were charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property, but in all honesty, they're more guilty of being stupid than anything.
