Sixteen new challengers approach to compete in Major League Gaming's Summer Fighter Arena this Friday, featuring Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur V.

The top eight players from each game's Spring Championship will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes, and we get to watch from the comfort of our homes/offices/bunkers.

MLG will be livestreaming from 4pm to midnight on Friday, and the finals take place at 7:30 and 11:30, respectively.

In addition to the normal stream, they're offering a Dr. Pepper Ultimate Access broadcast with behind-the-scenes coverage and interviews. Both streams are free to watch in standard definition, though an HD upgrade will cost extra.

Get your snacks and foam Reptile hands ready for Friday and express your excitement in the comments or on Twitter.
