We won't pretend we're not jealous.

The Major League Gaming (MLG) Fall Championship is taking place Nov. 2-4 in Dallas, and it's just been announced that players there will get a chance to take Halo 4 for a competitive spin before the game even comes out.

Halo is an MLG pillar, so naturally that community gets pretty pumped every time a new one comes out. Halo 4 is no different, and even though it doesn't drop until Nov. 6, MLG players are going to be competing in it for real money prizes at the Fall Championship.

Details are forthcoming, but for now all we can say is that we wish we'd spent more time honing our skills so we could compete in MLG. What good did studying ever do us, anyway?

Are you as excited about Halo 4 as you were for past Halo games? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
