Nobody would mistake John Mayer for a classy guy, but we definitely didn't see this coming. He reportedly broke up with Katy Perry, who he'd been dating for a few weeks up until last week, via email.
“He dumped her over email," a friend told Us Weekly. "She was furious and really hurt. She was into him, but he wasn’t feeling it.”
As for why they broke up, the friend says it had something to do with him tiring of her partying, but since they only dated for a few weeks, how much partying could she have done?
