Sometimes, that competitive fire can start trouble—especially when when you don't see it coming. Honolulu mayoral candidate Kirk Caldwell's 18-year-old daughter, Maya, has been accused of lighting rival Ben Cayetano's campaign sign up with her bong. They were able to confirm this because the brilliant teen uploaded the photos to Instagram.

The photos have since been removed, and Caldwell has apologized to Cayetano, who brushed the incident off as a "childish mistake." In the meantime, Caldwell said he planned to have a serious "father-daughter talk" with the girl before she left for college.

Kids—you have to love them. Especially when they do the wrong thing for the right reasons.
