Because apparently no one watches the news anymore, CNN is reportedly considering adding reality and talk shows to the line-up in an effort to boost ratings, which have hit a 20-year low recently. According to Deadline, the official statement is that they're exploring "non-fiction original series for the weekend," but obviously it's just a matter of time before they reboot The Hills or something.
Apparently, the network was happy with their recent hiring of Anthony Bourdain to host a food and travel series that will air on the weekends, and is looking for more television personalities like him. They are also considering a View-like series to air late-nights on the weekend.
