We're getting pretty pumped for the Borderlands 2 launch on Sept. 18, but in case just playing the game at home isn't enough for you, you'll also be able to pick up the soundtrack on the same day.

It's an eclectic mix of songs from experienced game composing pros Jesper Kyd, whose work recently appeared in Darksiders 2 (which, as we mentioned, had fantastic music) and Assassin's Creed before that, as well as Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan (whom we interview about their score for Mass Effect 3), and Gearbox's own Raison Varner.

The full tracklist is below, and though we're slightly disappointed that it likely won't include the dubstep mix from this Borderlands 2 trailer ("Joy puke your face off!"), we're excited to hear it nonetheless.

Borderlands had great music—do you think the soundtrack for number two will surpass the original's? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
