It's going to be pretty awkward for Kristen Stewart to promote Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 following her scandalous breakup with co-star Robert Pattinson.
The studio realizes this, and will most likely be pulling her from the film's upcoming promo blitz this November. Ashley Greene, who plays Pattinson's vampire sister, will be replacing Kristen for all of her scheduled interviews and appearances. However, in the rare instance the pair get back together before November, then on with the show!
"The studio's holding out to see if they get back together," an insider says. "But I don't think anyone is banking on that happening. At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It's usually very organized, but at this time it's undecided."
And that's not to say Stewart will be totally absent. She'll hit red carpets and the like, but anticipating that she'll be peppered by insults from fans, the plan is to put Greene in the forefront. Smart.
