Three stellar human beings are facing human trafficking charges in Kentucky after a mom reportedly sold her newborn baby for a used car and some meth. Jeremy Brown and his wife, Jamiee, plead not guilty today after bartering their 1999 Dodge Dakota for $800 and some meth to 30-year-old Heather Kaminskey for her child in January, just after she gave birth.

Kaminskey, who's originally from Florida, allegedly fled to Kentucky to have the baby and dodge social services, who took two of her other children. As for the Browns, though their means of exchange may be considered unethical, friends say they truly wanted to care from the baby. If convicted, they could both face 20 years in jail.

Now six-months-old, the baby shows no sign of abuse and is in protective custody. Wherever he ends up, he's better off than with a mother who was willing to trade him for $800 and drugs.
