Dubstep and video games seem to go hand-in-hand these days. Many of this year's biggest games have been hyped up with heavy drops and wubby bass noises, to the point where any trailer that foregoes the genre almost feels like a pleasant change of pace.

Despite the intense superficial connection, however, few game experiences have actually brought the player and the music together. The "V Motion Project", a music technology interface commissioned by New Zealand-based Energy Drink company V Energy, uses Kinect to turn the user into a Dubstep-themed music-making device.

Needless to say, it's pretty freaking awesome. If you want to know more about the V Motion Project and its creators, you can check out an in-depth history of the project right here.
