Despite rumors stating the contrary, Saturday Night Live star Seth Meyers is insisting that he has no plans to leave the long-running NBC sketch series to be a new co-host on Live! with Kelly Ripa.
"No, no, no, no, no,” the comedian said, speaking to the Orlando Sun-Sentinel. “I know [Regis’ replacement] is a very important thing down there. But, right now, what I would say to you: I’m really in love with the job I have. I’m very excited to be going back [to SNL] for the election season, which is always fun.
So, there you have it. SNL might not completely suck this season, despite the sure-to-be very noticable absence of Kristin Wiig and Andy Samberg. Or, everything except Meyers' Weekend Update segment will suck. Either way.
