The Planetside 2 beta has been delayed until "Friday or Monday", according to a series of tweets from Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley.
Last Thursday, Smedly had said the beta would kick off this week "barring any unforeseen circumstances". Whatever came up, it seems that the team needs a couple extra days to get things ready before letting players loose on the game.
"Had planned for today or tomorrow but we have some stuff we need to make sure is awesome," tweeted Smedly. "The team is working like crazy but we need to polish some stuff and test it before we let in a massive [number] of people."
