Word broke last week that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron devs High Moon Studios are working on a Hit Monkey game, and everyone sort of assumed that that was the big Comic-Con surprise they and Activision had been teasing. Oh, how wrong everyone was.

Today at the Con they Marvel and Activision announced that High Moon is also working on a game based on a character who's appeared in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but has never before had a game of his own: Deadpool, the Merc without a Mouth.

Pretty much nothing is known, including release date (beyond simply 2013) and platforms, but as IGN points out, that sounds a hell of a lot like Nolan North, the famous voice of Nathan Drake and the voice of Deadpool in Shattered Dimensions.

So are you stoked Deadpool is finally getting his own game? What do you think of the trailer? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
