The Palms Internet Cafe in Florida offered more than air conditioning and a speedy connection last Friday, July 13—it became an action movie, as two would-be robbers stormed the establishment, weapons drawn, only to be turned away (read: shot) by an armed patron. Watch the surveillance video, where old grey hair hops out of his seat to let his gat speak.
A member of the State Attorney’s Office is on record saying that it is unlikely the patron will face charges for shooting the thieves. Samuel Williams, 71, had a concealed weapons permit. In Florida, the law allows for this sort of chaos.
Keep in mind that Williams is protected by the same law that George Zimmerman is trying to hide behind.
