Prometheus will easily go down as one of the most divisive movies of the past decade, and the mixed reaction doesn't just stop at the hardcore internet fans either. Actor, writer, and director Tyler Perry recently told Black Film that he was disappointed in the movie.

"I love Sci Fi, I love the Alien movies and the Alien franchise. I was very disappointed with Prometheus, but I love that whole franchise. Those are my favorite movies," the actor told the site. Then he unleashed a bit of a surprising bombshell when he said, "I’m actually working on a sci-fi movie right now."

Perry is a lifelong sci-fi fan, and he even had a brief role in J.J. Abrams' Star Treka few years ago. But does that mean he's equipped to handle the genre as a writer and director? Anything is possible as long as he's not wearing a grey wig and a sun dress.
