For free users of Spotify’s mobile app, the capabilities have been limited, only allowing online streaming of one’s own sync’d music files. The paid, premium users understandably reap all of the benefits of Spotify’s awesomeness. Until now. Spotify has made a concession to free users, opening up its music-discovery Radio feature (similar to that of Pandora) to all iOS owners. With the option to create radio stations at anytime throughout the app from any artist, song, or album, iOS users finally have free access to Spotify's full library of 16 million songs. Of course, they'll still have to deal with ads and a limited number of skips, but it should be worth the trouble.
