Your child’s high school graduation is definitely grounds for celebration, but not something you want to get arrested over. Shannon Cooper was cuffed, hauled off to Florence County Detention Center and charged with disorderly conduct after going H.A.M as her daughter received her diploma.

Cooper’s daughter, Iesha, graduated from South Carolina’s South Florence High School, but she wasn’t the only parents asked to leave for being too enthusiastic. One woman allegedly took her new born baby and held it up in the air like Simba in The Lion King.

The school ended up issuing this statement:

All parents should be their child's cheerleader.

True indeed, but do we really need to lock people up for this? Stranger, more inappropriate things have happened at graduations.
