Starting tomorrow, DC Comics will unleash Before Watchmen on the world. These seven interconnected prequel miniseries will detail the early life and times of the characters that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons created in their 1986 masterpiece, Watchmen. Now, courtesy of USA Today, we have a five page preview of the debut miniseries from the project, Before Watchmen: Minutemen #1.
Illustrated and written by Darwyn Cooke, this title focuses on the original super team that populated the Watchmen universe. Tipping its cap to the Golden Age of comics, Cooke's art here is incredibly suited for this time period. Be sure to check out USA Today for an extensive interview about the series with Cooke.
