In an effort to squash the "cover curse" for their NHL XX series, EA Sports recently asked fans to vote on the cover player for their next hockey game, NHL 13.
Now the fans have spoken, and the cover will be graced by Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux. Runner-up was Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne.
EA Sports reports 26 million votes overall, including every round of polls.
