Ohio Woman Wants $500 Billion For Towed Car

Aim high.

None

Michelle Mathis is looking to get paid for her struggle. The Ohio native is seeking $520 billion in damages from the Columbus Department of Public Safety's Impound Unit after her car "vanished." Mathis spent a month in the hospital after getting into a car accident in January. In between, her 2002 Saturn was towed, and she says the impound unit wouldn't reveal any information about it.

Mathis conviced herself that the impound unit disposed of her vehicle, and refused to disclose any info because they "simply don't like her." Judge Elizabeth Deavers thinks that $520 billion is a bit much, and wants to toss the case out because Mathis never even bothered to ask why her car was towed.

In other words: find a more believable way to get over.
