This might just be one of the best pieces of casting news we've heard in a while: According to Deadline, amongst the actors in talks to play the president in Roland Emmerich's new disaster thriller, White House Down, is certifiable BAMF and Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx.
The film, which already stars Channing Tatum, follows a secret service agent who has to protect the prez and the White House after it is attacked by terrorists. It is reportedly being described as a "Die Hard-in-the-White-House scenario." Hopefully, it does not end the same way that Emmerich's last film about involving the White House did.
