Facebook's widely reported new app store, dubbed the "App Center," is now officially here.

Facebook users can browse for and install new apps for use both within Facebook and on mobile devices from the centralized location. 600 apps are available at launch, including user favorites like Draw Something, Words With Friends, Pinterest, Instagram, Spotify and Soundcloud.

For mobile apps in the App Center, Facebook added a "Send to mobile" button that will pull up the app in either the App Store in iOS or Google Play in Android.

The company hopes the new App Center will encourage developers to make more apps for Facebook while making it easier for users to find and install them. And by directing its hundreds of millions of users to other app stores owned by Apple and Google, Facebook will also potentially increase its influence over both platforms.
