This past Saturday, at 4:30 a.m. in Newstead, New York, a couple woke up to find a stranger sleeping on their couch. They tried to wake the 20-year-old guy up, but that was a fail since he was passed out and totally drunk. The man finally woke up when state troopers arrived at the house after they got the call.
The intoxicated Rip Van Winkle wannabe told the state troopers that he thought he was crashing in his friend's house, which, naturally, was 20 miles away. The man was charged with criminal trespass and issued an appearance ticket for the Newstead Town Court.
If he didn't get enough beauty sleep on the strangers' couch, maybe he will in jail.
