Last year Samsung introduced the LCD Refrigerator, a Wi-Fi-enabled fridge with a built-in LCD screen that allowed people to run apps, check the weather, and keep track of what food you currently have. Since Apple and Samsung are on a constant mission to one-up each other, we think the guys in Cupertino should develop their own smart fridge.
The iFridge would resemble the glass cube at the 5th Ave Apple Store in NYC. Sticking to Apple's minimalist aesthetic, there would be no handles—it would be a completely transparent cube. All settings would be controlled via iPad or iPhone. Like the LCD fridge, the iFridge will let you keep track of what food you have in stock. It would also have a Harman/Kardon sound system built in so you could stream music off your iPhone while you cook.
