The image above shows a slightly redesigned Wii U tablet controller—the previous version (in the second image) sported "analog nubs" like the 3DS, whereas the new controller has legitimate control sticks. Furthermore the d-pad and face buttons under the sticks have been shifted slightly off-center.

They're minor changes, though no doubt they'll improve the tablet's functionality. This may not even be the final version; we won't know until next month's E3, when Nintendo is slated to re-reveal the Wii U.

The image was reportedly tweeted from the QA department of TT Games, who're likely working on a LEGO game for Nintendo's next system, the Wii U. The tweet was sent off by user MATTYB00SH, who apparently cancelled his account when he realized he'd just incurred the wrath of Nintendo.

How do you feel about the Wii U now that it's about to be re-revealed? What about the changes to the controller? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
