Insomniac Games is developing a new Ratchet and Clank to celebrate the series' tenth anniversary, according to CEO Ted Price. Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault, a PSN-exclusive, will return to the series' original gameplay formula in many ways, Price explained on the PlayStation Blog.

Fans of the original Ratchet and Clank will be excited to hear that the game will feature "the series’ classic feel, camera, controls and weapons," as well as online co-op. Price didn't elaborate, but said that more information and "a special surprise for North American fans" is coming in the next couple of weeks.

Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault will hit us full force some time this holiday season.
