If Richard Nixon was president today, he probably would’ve done something similar to what Felix Roque, mayor of West New York, N.J., did.

A website recallroque.com was set up to get the mayor out of office in a recall election, so his 22-year-old son, Joseph, hacked into it and took it down. The damage was done, but then he proceeded to call the site’s owner to threaten him further, saying, “Everyone would pay for getting involved against Mayor Roque.”

That last bit is probably where everything backfired. The FBI began to investigate the hacking and yesterday, Roque and his son were taken into police custody.
