Lindsay Lohan's trying to keep her distance from Samantha Ronson. Or, well, at least her handlers hope she is.
“They don’t want Lindsay and Sam hanging around each other — even just as friends,” says a source. Should they be seen pal'ing around, while Lindsay is getting ready to shoot a new film, there will be “Too much poorly directed publicity right now.”
The pair were seen leaving Le Baron nightclub in Chinatown on May 2, leading to speculation that they were back together. The source says they're “just friends.” For now, they seem to be doing a good job of keeping themselves apart. At least in public, that is.
