The most popular note-taking service and app, Evernote has considerably bolstered its brand by acquiring the Cocoa Box Design, the makers of the awesome iPad handwriting app, Penultimate, CNET is reporting.
Penultimate remain a stand alone app, but its integration with Evernote's smartphone and tablet apps will strength. As of now, Penultimate users can import pages into Evernote. In the future, Evernote CEO Phil Libin says, users will be able to search for Penultimate notes in Evernote thanks to its character-recognition technology.
All of this means Evernote is now, without a doubt, the best note-taking platform available now.
