So much for honoring thy father and mother. A 13-year-old Hesperia, Calif., girl and two of her friends were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly hatching a devious plan to kill her mother. The stunned mom called the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, saying that her daughter attacked her.

A neighbor said she heard the scuffle, and that the mother had told her she feared for her life after noticing missing knives. The attempted murder, which was brainstormed along with a boy and another girl, both 14, came about because the girl was upset at her mother’s rules.

The kids weren’t playing around either, using three different means of attack which weren’t disclosed due to the pending investigation. The mother was injured, but did not need medical treatment, and the teens were arrested for suspicion of attempted murder and are being held at the Apple Valley Juvenile Detention Facility.
