Tension is growing between two of the judges on NBC's talent competition The Voice. Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine have been known to go back and forth on the reality show, but it appears as though their creative differences are driving a massive wedge between the two pop stars.
Things boiled over during Monday's episode of The Voice when Christina hit Adam's artist Tony Lucca with some harsh criticism pertaining to the content of his performance of Jay-Z's "99 Problems."
Adam didn't take too kindly to Christina's analysis of Lucca, who, oddly enough, starred alongside Xtina on Mickey Mouse Club way back when. The Maroon 5 front man expressed his displeasure on-set and their disagreement has apparently ballooned into a bitter rivalry.
“He comes off as a really great guy, but he’s very smart the way he takes jabs at Christina," a source told Radar. "Adam’s very subtle and doesn’t use words, just sneaky actions. She is sick of the way she’s being treated and she’s disgusted with Adam.”
