7-Eleven is not giving Slurpees the 21st century treatment. The frozen drink will now be made with Splenda instead of sugar to lower the number of calories (20 to be exact). The traditional version will still be available.

Everyone's favorite convenience store is trying to appeal to women in their 20s, who will be more inclined to drink Slurpees if they contain less sugar and calories. Sporting the new tagline “All flavor. No sugar,” the first low-calorie flavor to be released will be Fanta Sugar-Free this month, then Strawberry-Banana in July and Cherry-Limeade in August.
