Mass Effect 3 is a fantastic game, (at least we think so), because of the world you explore and the interesting characters you meet. Wait, let me re-phrase that: It's great because of the characters that "Shepard" meets. You don't actually meet them, talk to them, or have romantic relationships with them.
You expect it wouldn't be a problem for people to the tell difference between Mass Effect 3 and reality, but according to Padinga, the lines are beginning to blur, and real relationships are getting caught in crossfire.
So remember: no matter what happens in Mass Effect 3, you can't cheat on your wife with Ashley Williams... Or vice versa.
