One thing I have never given much thought to is what lies behind a computer icon. When Mac OS X ushered in the era of 3D icons, it seemed, at least to some people, that there must be more than meets the eye. Again, I've never thought that, but designer Cole Rise did. During what Rise refers to as "just some weekend tomfoolery," designed what he believed the back of the popular Instagram logo would look like. We think Rise nailed it. If the logo was real, this is probably what would be behind it.
Now if we only knew what that damn Twitter bird was hiding.
