It’s usually pretty hard to get too excited about a movie simply because of a 30-second TV spot, but this new Avengers footage is simply too epic to ignore. Not only do we get a nice glimpse of the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, but the new CGI technology behind the Hulk is really shown off here for the first time.
His facial expressions look much more natural this time around, similar to what we saw last year in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. And, of course, there is the requisite “Hulk Smash” line delivered from a very unlikely source. Let's just hope that these spots aren't spoiling too much because we're getting the sense that we have already seen most of the climactic final battle already.
The Avengers hits theaters on May 4.
