A marketing survey from researching firm Arkenford seems to indicate that Ubisoft has begun work on a sequel to last year's Rayman: Origins. Arkenford, who regularly does market research for Ubisoft, has been helping the publisher tweak the game's successful gameplay and feel into something appealing to more gamers.
Based on these screens, it sounds like dragons, vampires and greek gods will be playing a big role in forging the game's new identity. Mechanically, it seems the basic four-player co-op and platforming will stay intact, while possibly adding more racing elements, including ghost runs.
As of now, Ubisoft hasn't made any kind of official statement regarding Rayman Origins 2. We've contacted Ubisoft and we'll let you more when they respond.
