Konami has announced that the two latest Silent Hill releases, Downpour and HD Collection, will be getting simultaneously patched. In the former, framerate and audio sync issues will be addressed, while the latter's autosave problems will hopefully be fixed.

Both games will certainly benefit from some more attention, particularly HD Collection, which disappointed on its release with a plethora of bugs and other issues.

Hopefully these patches will fix things up. They're slated to arrive on 360 and PS3 in the coming weeks, so be sure to keep watch through the night.
