Some characters from cult favorite The World Ends With You make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D, and it seems that won't be the last we see of them.

Speaking Japanese publication Nintendo Dream, Tetsuya Nomura, one of the creators of both series, hinted at a sequel for TWEWY. In Kingdom Hearts 3D, Rhyme—a character from TWEWY who previously had little dialogue—is given more lines. Nomura said they cast a voice actor for the character "out of consideration of the future of The World Ends With You series."

And if that wasn't enough hint that there'd be more, he later said, "Regarding The World Ends With You, I can't say anything at present... (laughs). But there probably is something."

Score. Did you enjoy the first game's dual-screen DS action? What would you like to see out of a sequel? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
