Alec Baldwin has threatened to leave 30 Rock and acting altogether time and time again, so maybe we shouldn't read too much into this, but whatever. Here's what happened: Baldwin, who's been in the news recently because a creepy French Canadian woman was stalking him, was apparently a little pissed off that reporters were camped outside of his home this morning, including some from Today on NBC, the same network 30 Rock is on.
Clearly angry, he took to his Twitter to vent some of his frustrations, writing, "Outside my apt today, along side the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the Today Show." Then, later, "A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the Today Show?"
OK. We get it. He's disappointed in the Today show. It wasn't until his last tweet that things got a little confusing, though: "I think I'm leaving NBC just in time."
No word on what exactly this means, though Deadline speculates that perhaps Baldwin knows something about the fate of 30 Rock that others may not know yet. Then again, he could just be bluffing like he has been for the past few years about quitting acting.
