New Witnesses Say George Zimmerman Showed Signs of Injury

More breaking news.

George Zimmerman’s neighbors have finally decided to speak up about the injuries he allegedly suffered the night he killed Trayvon Martin. Sanford, Fla. Police had stated that Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and the back of his head, and was treated by medics before being taken to the Sanford police station on the evening of Feb. 26.

However, surveillance footage from the police station that showed no obvious sign of injury cast a huge shadow of doubt upon these claims.

Jorge Rodriguez, Zimmerman’s next-door neighbor, has come forward saying that Zimmerman had two big, butterfly bandages on the back of his head, and another big bandage...on the bridge of hisnose” the day after the shooting.

Rodriguez’s wife Audria also claims to have seen the bandages, and a third neighbor, who chose to remain anonymous said "I saw two bandages on the back of his head, and his nose was all swollen up."

Zimmerman’s neighbors spoke to Reuters on Sunday and Monday, saying they owed him their public support. If that were the case, wouldn’t his neighbors have rushed to his defense as soon as his injuries were questioned? This news also comes after Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara requested a new judge for the case.

The office of special prosecutor Angela Corey could not be reached for comment on the matter, but prosecutors will argue that Zimmerman profiled Martin.
